Which programs we use

  • Amazon Associates. T5 Golf is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Our Amazon links carry the tracking tag t5golf-20.
  • Awin. We work with golf retailers and brands through the Awin network, including Performance Golf and Fairway Golf USA.
  • Direct and other networks. From time to time we join retailer or manufacturer programs directly. Any link that can earn us a commission is treated the same way as the links above.

How to spot an affiliate link on this site

Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" and open in a new tab. Pages that contain them carry an inline disclosure next to the product list. Some links are routed through t5golf.com/recommends/ so we can see which recommendations are useful — those are affiliate links too, and they follow the same rules.

What commissions do not buy

  • Rankings are not for sale. No brand can pay to be recommended, to rank higher in a list, or to have a competitor removed.
  • Commission rate does not decide the pick. Where we recommend a product available from several retailers, we link to the one that is genuinely the better buy — not the one that pays us most.
  • We say when something is not worth it. A large share of our advice is “keep the club you have” or “fix the free thing first.” Those pages earn us nothing and we publish them anyway.
